Qaisra is the curator for the Nasser D. Khalili collection, the largest private Islamic art collection in the world.
Formerly a curator at the British Museum, Qaisra has worked on some of the biggest exhibitions on Islamic art across Europe and Asia.
Having completed her degree in law from Cambridge University, Qaisra branched into oriental history, working at the prestigious auction house Christie’s before researching at the Museum of Islamic Art in Doha.
She also worked as a project curator on the blockbuster Hajj exhibition at the British Museum
